Since its foundation, Sistiana Sailing Team has matched its sports activities with the promotion, support and a concrete contributions derived from sponsorship to national and international humanitarian organizations.
From 2015, on our main sail carries the logo of INTERSOS, Italian humanitarian organization, which operates throughout the world in favor of the populations in distress: victims of natural disasters, armed conflicts or extreme exclusion. It bases its action on the values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and real opportunities for all people, respect for diversity, coexistence, attention to the weakest and defenseless.
With its aid workers, INTERSOS rescues in emergencies to civilian populations, with particular attention to less protected groups. It provides food and basic necessities. It meets basic needs such as the right to education, water, health.
